Greg Koch: My bass playing pal and now, retired gentleman of leisure, Kurt Koenig and I went on an action packed road trip and as a result, I-65 will never be the same. Had some Glorious Jams at Nashville NAMM with my good buddy and fiendish bass manipulator Thomas Good. We engaged in robust musical activity for the Mighty Larry Fishman using his superb, benevolent, musical weaponry. After further review, the Fluence Pickups still provide tonal musical enablement of the highest order! Twas great finally meeting in person and feasting with the sensational Ed King whose Skynyrd Strat manipulations stand as a testament to savage, tuneful, tone-infested tastiness. Twas also great hearing and reconnecting with Jd Simo who is a powerful, young, Axeman of Doom and a gentleman extraordinaire. Great to see J.j. Nichols our hometown, young, fire breathing, Axe Savage out there tearing it up. Hanging with the perpetually tasty, TONE-Squatch- Greg Martin and playing his glorious 58 Les Paul of which I own a recreation, was a total gas. He gave me some groovy Kentucky Head Hunters swag and the Live at the Agora Ballroom record is out of control WICKED!!!! I saw so many friends and musicians on this trip that to list them all would be even more tedious to read than this post already is but what a great trip! Thanks all for the great hang!!!!! Seeing Jack Pearson play twice in one week was ridiculous…thoroughly enjoyable and I walked way with some lick treats for the riff satchel:)
