Grimes “Go” (featuring Blood Diamonds) ow.ly/AOahh [Video Premiere] Canadian producer, musician, singer and songwriter Claire Elise Boucher, better known by her stage name as Grimes is finally back to the music spotlight with brand new single entitled “Go“. Following the release of her acclaimed third studio album and international breakthrough “Visions“, the singer just premiered the first taste of her highly-anticipated fourth studio album, still untitled, scheduled to be released on digital retailers later this year or early next. The song has the guest collaboration of Los Angeles-based producer Blood Diamonds and it was exclusively premiered on BBC Radio 1′s Zane Lowe on June 26th. “Go” was released as free download on Grimes’ soundcloud page right after. The singer has taken a 180 degree turn to her sound, but without losing the Grimes essence, which captivated us in 2012. Perfection. The song was recorded in 2013 and was sent to Rihanna’s team to be included on her upcoming eighth studio album. It was finally rejected. The music video co-directed by Roco-Prime (aka Claire and Mac Boucher) was premiered on VEVO on Wednesday August 27th.
