Group endorses Bamanga Tukur’s son for Adamawa guber race Adamawa Indigenes Progressive Forum (ADPF), Kaduna State chapter has endorsed the governorship ambition of Alhaji Auwal Tukur, son of former national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), for the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state. The group said after a meeting in Kaduna that they have closely monitored and viewed the political pedigree of all contestants and resolved to stand by Auwal. “He stands out as the most qualified aspirant, “Coordinator of the group, Mustapha Usman said. The group said Auwal as a member of the House of Representatives in 1999, demonstrated his love for his people and the state. “As the chairman of the House committee on Aviation, he facilitated and influenced the present Yola International Airport that is being enjoyed by all and sundry,” Usman said. “We are optimistic that Auwal will provide the needed change in Adamawa state and make it second to none in the country,” he said.
