Group input needed: Im a non-custodial mother. My 10 year old - TopicsExpress

Group input needed: Im a non-custodial mother. My 10 year old daughter refuses to go back with her father after visitation (no valid reasons given why) so there is now a police intervention order. She jumps from his car and he literally has to hold her down to drive home. They have threatened to handcuff her, have told her I would go to jail, and now they are tossing her in the back of the police car, taking her to the police station, and have to follow him all the way home (crossing jurisdictions, so two police forces) in order to get her home safely. Has anybody ever heard of this? I have tried to get help from her therapist (Dad hasnt even called-this has been going on for two months, no appointment, nothing), DSS, school social workers. Its just getting worse and I KNOW Im going to get blamed for it but I feel helpless. I have never interfered but tonight I loudly expressed my discontent with her being put in the back of a police car (as I hope other moms would do as well). I really need help! My attorney took another job so I am in the middle of hiring another but Im so afraid that these incidents are going to damage her. I sometimes think it would be better not to exercise visitation right now because of the exchanges but I think that would hurt her as well, maybe more. I feel like I cant win either way.
