Growing up I saw my great grand ma and was callin her makhulu /grand ma , My grand ma was callin her mom/mama and my mom was calling her sisi wel I grew up uKholeka callin her that so I just joined in. So after my grand ma and mom died I was left with sisi(my biological mom). And I thought I was alone coz I missed thenjiwe so much, and I would leave home and go watch late nite movies kulo mboneli then I around eleven one day as Im walkin home I felt like theres someone following me and at first was afraid so I jogged and didnt feel them but was runnin with a dog but when was close to home I saw shadow shaped of my mom and I got home and told sisi and she said maybe your mom lookin after u and from then on I believed I was not alone. Despite everythin but myself I had to grow up at a very young age and so my first encounter of growin up was when I went to woodlands alone at dusk. Wel my parents were that side with my lil bro and I was left with nhenhe. I dont know the exact words they said but since I dont get angry fast but they made me feel like I ma burden so I started knowing whats family coz I thought everyone I know was family then I stood back her house around 6pm in the evening. if u can notice the trees when u enter the road going to woodlands are formed like a door to the forest so I made a lil prayer and never told anyone that Im living coz I thought no one will miss me. runletts started feeling like a different place to me. So I started walkin towards the forest and it was gonna be dark soon and as Im bout to enter it, I look back and wiped my tears. I walked then out of nowhere a black and white dog appeared and walked with me. as I was bout to cross the river then I took off my shoes and I left the dog on the other side and it was barking then it jumped into water with me. The river was not that deep so together we crossed da river between runletts and woodlands. I kept on apologising on my prayer for daring death. Wel I arrived at woodlands and the dog left when it saw that Im safe and disappeared to the forest. I told my parents nothin just that we not going to school from that Wednesday till next week and that was a lie but it was worth telling.........
