Growing up outside of Wise, Virginia, there was this kid who lived near me named Jeremy Massie who was oftentimes very mean to me. One time he punched a hole in my church while slam dancing to Nirvana. One time he took my VHS copy of The Wings of Honneamise and utterly destroyed it on purpose. I give you these disclaimers so that you understand how big of a deal that it is when I compliment his comic book All My Ghosts. The first two issues are available to download on ComiXology, and it tells the story of a small-town Newspaperman in southeastern Virginia, and the conflict he faces when he sells his familys business to a large corporation. And yes, there are ghosts in the story as well. Crisp art, sharp writing, and I cannot wait to see how the remaining chapters unfold. Seriously. This dude was mean to me when I was a kid, and I am telling you, give him money for his fantastic work of sequential storytelling.
