Grrr..... I have experienced this many times when taking individuals that have a disability to medical appointments. The medical professional will address me while the patient is right in front of them. When this happens I will turn my body toward the individual receiving services, at the same time I make eye contact with the Medical professional and then look at the individual receiving care, doing this many times hoping the said professional gets the message through body language. If this doesnt work I will talk with the professional providing the service after the appointment.
