Guess who is ready for adoption? Its Trooper! Trooper, aka Harry Potter, as he is often called, came to FLDR in an emergency situation. He had been hit by a car and was left by his owner to suffer in the middle of the road. Thanks to some very special good Samaritans he was rescued and taken to veterinarian care. FLDR was called by these special people to see if we would help. Of course, we could not say no under the circumstances. After extensive testing the diagnosis confirmed he had been hit in the head and had a broken jaw as well as a bad cut on his forehead. Fortunately, there were no other broken bones or internal damage. He was taken into surgery and had a wire placed in his jaw and his head stitched. Poor baby could have no solid food for 8 weeks. The wire has now been removed and a dental was performed. He has been released to find his new forever home. Trooper is such a sweet and loving boy. He’s very much a people pup and likes to be with you wherever you may be. He loves to have is belly rubbed while sitting and watching TV. He enjoys a morning nap while lying in the sun on the patio. He is easy going, obedient and housetrained. He would make a wonderful companion bringing love and joy to his forever home. Foster mom says, “Personally I don’t know how anyone could give up such a perfect little boy. He is so loving and a real joy to have in my home.” We do not recommend a home with children or cats in his forever home.
