Guiao summoned by Salud after being caught on camera flashing dirty finger FIERY Rain or Shine mentor Yeng Guiao has been summoned to appear before PBA commissioner Chito Salud after he was caught on television flashing a dirty finger during the E-Painters’ 84-97 loss to Barangay Ginebra on Sunday. Guiao, also a member of Congress representing the first district of Pampanga, will appear before Salud on Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the PBA’s office in Libis, Quezon City, according to PBA media bureau Willy Marcial. “Ginawa na yung sulat na naka- address kay coach Yeng kanina. So by tomorrow (Tuesday), matatanggap niya na yun. Wednesday ng 11 a.m. ang meeting nila (with Salud) sa (PBA) office, Marcia told Spin.ph on Monday. A reader posted a photo of Guiao flashing the dirty finger on Spin.ph’s official Facebook page on Monday with a short message: “Hope this photo will reach the commissioners office for proper action on this fellow!” The photo was captured from a television image just after the Rain or Shine mentor was slapped with a technical foul at the 11:41 mark of the final period while arguing with the game officials over a foul slapped on E-Painters rookie guard Jeric Teng against Jayjay Helterbrand. The dirty finger was most likely directed at the referees. The E-Painters made a strong run late in the third quarter against the Gin Kings, cutting what was once a 16-point deficit to just two points, 62-64. But the Gin Kings unleashed a major run in the final period behind their “Twin Towers” Japeth Aguilar and Greg Slaughter as well as Mark Caguioa to repulse the E-Painters in the end, 97-84. #respect
