Guinness World Record Summary NIIHA players and parents, The Guinness World Record game is quickly approaching. It will be held the 27th and 28th of September in Otjiwarongo. The current record is set at 25 hours and 20 minutes of continuous play. We would like to set our record at 27 hours or longer. Here is a summary of the event: -Two teams of 16 (14 field players and 2 goalies). These positions can rotate. - Players must be 16 years of age or older to compete. We are interested in having a mixture of players that will include masters and ladies masters players if interested. - The game is continuous and therefor will not have intermissions. Four players and a goalie will be on the rink at all times. There is no time limit for a players shift. - The players that are not competing on the rink are allowed to sleep on the bench. They must remain on the bench and are not permitted to leave the venue at anytime. -There must be 2 refs on the rink at all times and these refs must also be 16 or older. This is a very brief summary of the game and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. There will be sign up sheets at the Scorpions tournament for players, referees, and witnesses. All NIIHA players are welcome and encouraged to compete! Thank you for the support and we will see all of you this weekend!
