Gujranwala updates 30-09-2014: Special Campaign against the Milk & Sugar Seller On directions of worthy District Coordination Officer Gujranwala Mr. Azmat Mahmud & Under the Supervision of Mr. Abdul Hameed, Executive District Officer (Agriculture), Gujranwala D.O. Livestock Gujranwala, Dr. Riaz Ahmad, Special Magistrate Price Control with his team conducted raids in different Bazars & Markets of Liaqat Road & Chandni Chowk, Gujranwala. He Imposed fine Rs. 5,000/- at the spot of 1 Violator i.e. Karyana Marchant, (Safyan) on violation of Price Control Act. And 7 Violators Karyana Marchant, Vegetables, Chicken & Beef, Mutton Seller (Muhammad Anees, Maqsood, Anwar, Muhammad Aqeel, Muhammad Imran, Babar Mehmood & Ali Raza) Total Rs. 33,000/- Jail Fine alongwith 2, 2 days imprisonment each in case of non payment of fine. They will further remain imprisonment for 3, 3 days more on violation of Price Control Act. He warned them to display rate list at a visible place and sell quality Milk at Govt. approved rate.
