Guv’ Ashwani kumar inspects ICP Moreh MOREH (IT News): A day after high power committee of the state government took stock of the disputed border fencing site near Moreh, Manipur Governor, Dr. Ashwani Kumar today interacted with representatives of various communities at Moreh Trade center. Talking to the community leaders, Dr. Ashwani kumar assured to look into the matter regarding the incursion of India’s territory by the Myanmar’s authority and also other developmental worksof Moreh town. Earlier, the governor inspected the ongoing construction work of the Integrated Check Post (ICP) which is being implemented by the Land Port Authority of India. The governor was brief on the present status by the officials of the Authority and the representatives of the Department of Commerce and Industries, Govt. of Manipur. He also inspected Lokchao Bridge condition. The governor visited the border town by going on road. Heavy security arrangement was made along the Imphal-Moreh route to assured full proof security. This is the second time that Dr. Ashwani kumar make official visit to a place of the state since he took oath. The first was at Kakching.
