Guwahati: The anti-talks faction of Ulfa, led by Paresh Baruah, on Thursday dealt twin blows to security forces ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modis maiden visit to the region by killing a Hindi-speaking trader and warning Modi to face armed attacks on BJP if he does not publicly reveal the whereabouts of 26 Ulfa cadres who are missing since the Bhutanese operation against Indian militants in 2003.In January 2007, Ulfa had killed 70 Hindi-speaking migrant labourers in Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts within four days to draw Centres attention. Baruah, in a statement issued on Thursday, said if Modi misses the January 10, 2015 deadline, the outfit will launch an armed resistance to BJPs mission to capture power in the state in the 2016 assembly elections.
