Guy Kawasaki and I met 13 years ago today at the Asia Silicon Valley Connection meeting in Palo Alto, and a year later today in 02 he introduced me to Bill Reichert at their Garage Technology Ventures Start-up Strategies workshop. Theyve taught me much with their in-person discussions, breakfast - lunch - dinner conversations on the USS Nimitz, and other nice establishments, lectures and books, as have others since such as Jennifer Jones, Charlene Li, Jeremiah Owyang, Brian Solis, Jeremy Epstein Robert Scoble Pamela Slim David John Zian and David Demos plus many more. I created a device in 04 using tech Garage venture funded, and so Bill and Guy got better acquainted with me through that process. It is wonderful. This incredible series by Guy & Bill linked here is immensely straight-forward on A to Z of start-up and funding for sustained corporate start-up success. I highly recommend buying the series. Its $25. An incredible bargain! Im off now to get building my team for my wine-industry business by August for cred when pitching to investors this fall. Cheers!
