Guyana - Asif Yakub, 31, who was accused of the 2008 rape of a 14-year-old girl and robbery under arms committed against the said teenager, was freed by Justice Sandra Kurtzious. The teen had related to the police that Yukub approached her from behind after following her and pulled her in some bushes where he raped her, then he proceeded to relieve her of a gold chain she was wearing.
