Guys, just some thoughts... but has anyone noticed recently how much ISIS (ISIL/Da3esh) is in the media? Almost everyday I am seeing articles about ISIS brutality or how they are inspiring people to come join their fight in Syria/Iraq... Hundreds of Europeans/North Americans are going there to fight with them and do their share of beheading infidels... Now... I hate this terrorist group and everything they stand for. So I am not defending them... but do you think that maybe... just maybe... that north American media is making ISIS a bigger problem than they really are. Because speaking with a few people who have family in Syria and in the area, they are saying that the Syrian Army, Lebanese Army and Iraqi Army are pounding away at ISIS almost daily and they have them under control. Lets stop and think for a second about this... Why would north American media want to make ISIS look like its much more powerful than it really is? Why would the media make Canadians/ Americans feel that ISIS is a threat to them! (Because lets face it, Canadians/Americans only care about issues that affect them. There are political/Terrorist problems all over Africa that have been happening for years that you dont hear about because generally speaking, North Americans dont care. And if you do see a few articles about them, you put up some statuses on facebook with a couple of hashtags and the issues is forgotten a week later.) But everyday, we are seeing headlines that scream: Is ISIS unstoppable? ISIS is now the biggest terrorist organization ISIS beckons its followers in Canada to kill Non Believers Do you think that the media is trying to make ISIS look like this unstoppable monster in the middle east, and the only way to stop ISIS is if the United States got involved? Do you think that the media is subconsciously making ISIS this huge monster and this huge problem that is uncontrollable so that we can scream out UNITED STATES!!! KILL THEM, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!.... And of course Mr.Obamas reply to that is Oh? you want us to go to Syria/Iraq to defeat ISIS.... absolutely! Do you really think the US has nothing to gain from all of this? Do you think the medias hype of ISIS is accurate or do you think they are doing it to brainwash us into thinking that the only way to beat ISIS is to get foreign help from the united states? your thoughts?
