Guyz like this fabulous page :) JUST BECAUSE I AM A GIRL ??__ In our society people pray for a male child..blessings of elders are for boys..freedom is for boys.. India is referred as “Bharat Mata”..Mother is given a place next to god..in any situation of danger people worship goddess Durga..for knowledge goddess Saraswati..for wealth goddess Lakshmi..but still lament on birth of a girl child..and celebrate if a baby boy is born..y so !!? Is Dowry custom the reason?? Or Is being a Girl a curse ?? There are many such questions which come in our minds when we discuss this topic.. and the imp 1 is that Y are Females considered weak ?? here I would like to mention a line I read somewhere “YOU CONSIDER FEMALES TO BE WEAK !! IF IT IS SO..Y THOUSANDS OF SPERMS COMPETE FOR JUST ONE OVA !!” We say ourselves to be living in 21st century..modern era..but stil if a girl has to leave the house at late night..she has to think ten times before she goes out.. if she wears short clothes..she has to get used to those long stares.. she has to get used to those filthy comments..to those ravenous eyes..to those lectures about her dress..to those talks and worries about her future..and finally to the fact that She is a “GIRL” !! Its considered that God created Woman after Man..acc 2 d Christian Mythology- ADAM and EVE were the first creation of God..and Eve was created as the companion of Adam.. Its also said that God made Eve from the rib of Adam..not from his head to rule him..nor by his feet to be trampled by him..but from under his arm to be protected by him and near to his Heart to be loved by him "Respect" Thats all we want !!
