Gyronaut X-1 Worlds Fastest Motorcycle January 23 . We are HUGE fans of Alex Tremulis and is creative designs. Alex is in the Sturtevant Richmont Mechanics Hall of Fame as one of the worlds top designers/engineers. The post below came from the Gyronaut page on Facebook. We want to honor Alex and his team for their creation. As 2014 marks the 100th anniversary of a century of racing at Bonneville, its probably not so coincidental that today marks the 100th year of Alex Tremulis, as well. Without him, the world would never have seen so many wild, weird and wonderful flying and driving machines such as his 1934 Duesenbergs by Walker-LaGrande, the first flying saucer ever rendered (1948), the Tucker 48, the Gyronaut X-1 (1964), the 1944 Tremulis Interceptor (precursor to the Space Shuttle), the 1952 Kaiser Allstate, the 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt, the 1937 Supercharged Cord side exhausts, the 1961 Ford Gyron, Walt Arfons 1965 Wingfoot Express II, and so many other amazing creations.
