HACKERS, ADWARE, AND SPYWARE Todays technology is wonderful and amazing. Our computers open us up to a whole world of information and making friendships world wide. Unfortunately there are those out there that choose to use them to do harm to others. I know first hand, I was hacked a few years ago, and it was a nightmare in living color! They hacked everything, my email, Facebook, all my contacts, and my bank accounts. I had to file reports with my bank, the PD, and the Federal Government. It took months to wade through the mess they created, it was so frustrating and exhausting. It took 3 months just to find the folder that they had installed on my computer! Now thats down right scary... Makes you think about getting off the computer completely. But when all was said and done I had 2 choices, let it break me or let it make me. Being a fighter I chose the latter. I decided to learn as much as I could to protect myself, and hopefully help others. Out of every negative thing that happens is a positive, we just have to find it! Cnet has free programs that can help you protect yourself, Malware Bytes and Spybot are good. In fact Spybot is the 1 I used to find the hackers file so it could be deleted. There are also many good forums out there where you can ask questions and get them answered. I have not encountered Conduit SearchProtect on my computer but I do believe I may have seen it on my friends.
