HAITI: UN peacekeepers clashed with supporters of former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in Port-au-Prince on Thursday firing tear gas. Dozens of protesters had set up barricades outside Aristides home fearing he might be arrested after a judge issued an arrest warrant on Wednesday. Aristide is suspected of money laundering, corruption and drug trafficking but his supporters claim the charges are politically motivated. The warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court.
