HALF TIME: Hull KR (16) T: Weyman, Welham, Lovegrove G: Burns (2/3) Widnes (18) T: Owens, Allen, Brown G: Tickle (3/3) A pretty poor first half for Rovers, but two magic tries within the last five minutes of the first half has put the Robins back in the game. Widnes opened the scoring through Owens after Hall failed to ground Cockaynes kick. Rovers hit back through Weyman who scored in similar fashion to his great try at Warrington. However, Rovers concentration seemed to lapse after this, letting in two very soft Widnes tries, Allen and Brown both showing and going and walking through some weak defence. It took Rovers another ten minutes to settle down and then two great tries, the first a sweeping move started by Larroyer, saw 8 players involved and Hall breaking down the wing, who selflessly passed the ball back to Welham who scored. Straight from the kick off Rovers scored again, as Burns sidestepped the Widnes defence, offloaded to Keating who distracted the defence long enough and put Lovegrove over from 30 metres out. Can Rovers take the form they found in the last five minutes of the first half and carry it forward into the second?
