Six years is a long time to have formed habits, to have taken roots and at this age, Mack would have preferred to be a well established pet for many more years. Fate decided otherwise and handsome Mack was found as a stray. Mack is quite a good and healthy looking guy who sports a well groomed red coat over a perfectly built body topped by a bemused horsey face that seems to ask: what am I doing here? Mack is welcoming in his kennel and even more so at our second walk. He pulls on the leash and eliminates on the way with mild marking. He displayed his obedience skills after we got more acquainted. I can understand ....Mack sat, came when I called him and took treats politely from my hand. Caresses did not seem odd to him. Mack granted me with a tail wag and a very gentle gaze. I wonder what was his life like? He is in good shape, sociable and friendly...Why is Mack with us? We will never know...All that really matters is to bring a smile on Macks face and make a match with an adopter looking for a big red dog, a mature but still active companion, a forever best friend with already some training. Mack is at the Manhattan Care Center, dreaming to start his life all over again with you.
