HANGING OUT WITH ELLIOTT HULSE (note: this is the FINAL video - TopicsExpress

HANGING OUT WITH ELLIOTT HULSE (note: this is the FINAL video that Im posting in this Facebook group to respect the new guidelines. Figured Id share this video since it directly deals with my story of how I got to know & meet Elliott) So last week I had the honor and privilege to hangout with Elliot, his family and friends. What started off as jealousy transformed to gratitude (youll get what I mean when you watch the video: youtu.be/_UQKeyG5usE). Long story short, after reaching out to him and getting to know him, those feelings of jealousy transformed into respect, appreciation and admiration for someone who has paved the path for many out there who plan on empowering others to become the strongest version of themselves. While hanging out with him this past weekend, I got to witness him in his fullness. He made it clear that he was going to bring all of himself to the table (the dark & the light). I got to hangout with his beautiful wife and their 4 amazing kids. I got to hang out with his brother, sister, mother and father who were all awesome. Coming from a VERY dysfunctional family, it was inspiring to see an older version of myself living the values and principles that I choose to embody in my own life. It wasnt only a confirmation for the direction I was heading but it affirmed that my desires and dreams were truly possible. Because of my traumatizing childhood, we decided to do some bioenergetics which was definitely a new experience for me. Liberating. I ended up losing my voice a bit from all of that yelling. Then we chilled by the fireplace in his backyard, roasting marsh mellows with cookies and talked about life, business, relationships and personal growth. I also got to visit strength camp and meet his boys, who were all chill as hell. Theres so much more that I can share about my experience with him, his family & friends, but instead of writing a book, here were the 7 main things that Ive learned thus far. 1. Your aspirations lie in your admirations 2. Self-acceptance & showing up is the key to radical authenticity 3. It takes maturity & humility to learn from a living mentor 4. Dont let your influencers overshadow your individuality 5. You are just as valuable as those you highly value 6. It takes strength for a person to show up in their fullness 7. Were all figuring out this thing called life the best way we can I hope my experience has encouraged you to go out there and pursue your hearts desires and dreams without the need to compare yourself to those who are out there doing what you want to do (like I did at first). I hope my vulnerability in sharing this with you reminds you of the value that you inherently & innately possess for the simple fact that you exist. All successful people stand on the shoulders of giants whether they are dead or alive and whether we want to acknowledge it or not. Im just grateful that I got to meet and hangout with one of those giants in my own life. Elliott, my brother, thanks for being such a stand up guy in person and online. Thank you for being you in all of your glory and shadows. Thank you for making me feel like Im a part of your family. Thank you for your candidness, compassion and comradery. You continue to serve as an inspiration, not only for me but to countless people, even if thats not what youre intending to do or be. I look forward to the day we look back and say to each other, Remember when... Keep doing your thing man. Its making a big difference. And for the record, I see and hear you ;)
