HAPPY 6 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Litisha D. Brown! In saying that; Marriage should be the equivalent of FREEDOM not BONDAGE! Its senseless and sad to be married for 10, 20, or 30 MISERABLE years ONLY for the sake of commitment....so that you can brag to your homeboys and homegirls that youve been married many years. Your commitment is to the LIFE in your marriage not to the DEATH of it! If there is no fruitfulness and element of TRUST, youre both choking yourselves to death. It does no good to be full of years if those years have been full of unhappiness, anguish, and despair. It does not bode well for your mind, body, or soul to remain committed to a dead thing. Your SOUL-LINK should be with someone who can BUILD you, STRENGTHEN you, and SPEAK LIFE into you. They should be able to fertilize your VISION, DREAMS, and CALL with relentless SUPPORT. Husbands should be strong, determined, protective, and supportive. You cant LEAD well while confused, mad, unloving, and disconnected from the everyday affairs of the family. A woman will always be willing to follow a man who KNOWS where hes headed! Shes confused because you are. Shes frustrated because youve pushed her into a role that does not match the function she was created for. My desire is to have my wifes face LIGHT UP at the mentioning of her husbands name (...and her desire shall be for her husband (Genesis 3:16b). Litisha D.
