HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTOPHER HENRY DIFFORD 4th November 1953 SQUEEZE Brilliant singer/songwriter/musician/record producer and artists manager,Chris with the equally brilliant Glenn Tilbrook were two of the original members of the great and hugely successful UK band Squeeze. Together Chris and Glenn wrote and recorded some of the most memorable and individual songs throughout the 1970s - 1990s. Chris and Glenn are touring now as a duo for the first time in many years to great acclaim as The Odd Couple,its a fantastic show,so if they are performing in your area,you must try and see them. Chris has received a unique guitar from The Buddy Holly Educational Foundation bearing a Buddy song title named Take Your Time. Glenn will be presented with his guitar at one of their concerts later this month,and well put pics of the presentation on this Facebook site. We are proud and delighted that Chris has joined The Buddy Holly Educational Foundation family as exclusive Artistic Director for our annual songwriting retreats. Commencing June 14th Glastonbury,England and September 7th 2015 in Buddys home town of Lubbock, Texas. Chris will be co-ordinating with myself and our board advisor Brooke Witcher of The Buddy Holly Centre.
