Hi Deirdre One day I was trolling Amazon Facebook Ads, like you do, and saw an ad for a Pleasure Faire Wench costume. I posted the polyester $34.95 nightmare on our private board for fun..... 230 replies later myself, our Costume Mistress and an Ale Stand Manager all promised to purchase these and wear them to our tiki party Saturday night before dress rehersal. Bees, please note the main dress is all one piece. The velveteen bodice is not separate and has no boning so if you want support, you need to wear a bra. The hard gold ribbon lacing sliced the thin ribbon loops so badly that three were only hanging on by a single strand of ribbon fiber. Being industrious I fastened them with safety pins. The side sleeves (that looks like an off the shoulder chemise) are individual pieces you slip on your upper arms. The gloves are pointed in the front but do have a finger loop. There is a ribbon flower headband (which some people think is the best feature of this nightmare) and a lovely drawstring purse for your pass, keys, money and crack pipe. The moral of this story? DONT DO IT!!! JUST DONT!!! P.S. Wearing spanky pants is a MUST because the skirt barely covered my ass. If you bend over, everyone will see France and the Netherlands so guard your borders!
