HAPPY NEW YEAR LOVELIES! X **Cheesy post ALERT!** Last year has been such a rollercoaster ride concerning makeup artistry. Theres been times where I have doubted my capabilities, underestimated my skills as a makeup artist and been ready to just throw all my hard work away. It can be hard to work in an industry with such strong critics and such fierce competitors, but I always remember that theres a difference between the malicious nature of humanity and those who genuinely want to see you do well! Blood, sweat and lots of tears can sum up last year. How hard its been to remember my focus, my main goal and how much work I have done to prove to myself that success is doable, if you work hard you are rewarded in a way that means most to you, its personal satisfaction. The most difficult part is to separate a business life from a personal one, especially in an industry as personal as this one. It is always important to keep a professional, clear head in an environment that contains a work space, client or collaborators, that is a lesson I well and truly learned at the start of 2014 and it will stay with me throughout the years in the certain situations and circumstances. I really want to thank everyone who has supported me and my page, call me sad but having almost 500 likes overwhelms me a little, and it makes me feel proud that my artistry has reached so many people. I hope to be working on a lot of projects and by the end of this year start thinking about creating my own website, depending on how strong my portfolio will be by then! *fingers crossed!!!* I hope you all the best in 2015, as long as you work hard and stay focused, you will do well and be rewarded 😄
