HAPPY SUNDAY! I was talking to my best friend, Belle, last night - TopicsExpress

HAPPY SUNDAY! I was talking to my best friend, Belle, last night on the phone and was sharing with her all of the doors that are opening from Whom I truly believe are ALL the LORDs blessings. She reminded me this Bible verse: Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. --JAMES 1:12 Such a humbling week this just past. Words cannot even describe the excitement and joy I have in my heart...and for some doors, there will be no monetary pay, but those are the ones that I am most enthusiastic about. That is what you call PASSION. That is confirmation the LORD telling me, This is your calling. Yesterday, my husband and I attended the funeral of one of our best married couples friends, Daniel and Maribel Butts mom/mom-in-law, Aunty Diane Gumataotao. My husby, Kristian, whispers to me and discreetly points out the couple sitting a row in front of us, Theyre from Liberty Church. I respond, YEAH, they are. I notice the husband sitting with his wife automatically, because he is usually in the lobby after service, greeting and conversing with people. Anyway, when we get to the reception, we run into this couple. We all introduce ourselves; the wife and I talk for a good 10-minutes that her husband leads the Mens Ministry, they were the elders at Liberty before, how theyve grown with Liberty, etc. Amazing couple! We parted ways to fellowship with others and wait for the food to be prepared. After eating, I walked over to the coffee station and ran into one of my high school buddies, Rob Wilson. I told him, Hey man! I need some drummers for Hot Hula. =) We start talking and he said, My auntie wants to talk to you. You guys go to the same church. So here comes the same lady that I just met from Liberty walking up to me. I am so loving how God works!! She goes on about Hula Praise and how it died down a bit, they just need someone to teach it. I was extremely beside myself because I put that on hold yet have an immensely deep passion for. I see my husband quietly pointing at me behind my back. Hahaha! I just love my husband. I looked at her in shock and said, Do you know...do you know...DO YOU KNOW how long Ive been waiting for this? I have been trying to get the Hula Praise Ministry up and running for years, just not right timing. Of course we were talking for about 15-20 minutes all excited, hugging one another saying to each other, This is Gods divine appointment! Wow! Some people call what they love to do a hobby...I call it His ministry. Not my ministry, Gods ministry. When one door closes, in my case, my hourly paying job. We may not understand, we may get upset or angry with God, we may feel lost or useless...but that is the time when you STILL need to rejoice in the LORD. You aint got time to ask, Why? Thats when you listen even more close and ask, Okay, whats next, God? Where do you want to use me? What is the next chapter of my life? You have got to stay optimistic and remind yourself of new opportunities...there will be an open door (or even way more than just one) youll be blessed with! #notyourplainjane
