HAPPY TAIL: Zeus & Caly FKA Sasha edition One of our foster parents followed up with the family who adopted Zeus and Sasha from us a few years ago! We love to hear happy endings and this is certainly a happy one! And an important note as you read this- Zeus is deaf. From the adopters: It is so nice to hear from you and to know that even almost 3-4 years later, you still think about Zeus. Both Zeus and Caly (Sasha as you knew her) are doing amazing! Zeus is a real ball of love and has developed an absolutely hilarious personality. He is not shy about meeting new people or animals, he just gets along with everyone. He is the hit of our neighborhood as well. When we go out for walks, we always end up getting stopped by someone who wants to tell me how adorable Zeus is. EVERYONE loves Zeus! He gets along so well with kids and other animals. We have a friend who has left her Pit Bull with us a few times and both dogs absolutely love to play with him. As for Caly, she has really come out of her shell. When we first got her, she was very timid. She was scared around brooms, when she heard loud noises, etc. But now, after working with her, she is doing so much better. She and Zeus are inseparable. We feel that Caly understands that Zeus is deaf and she really looks out for him and takes care of him. And she LOVES to instigate a good play session with him. They are both such amazing additions to our family and we can’t imagine our lives without them.
