HARE KRSNA: ESSENCE OF THE GITA......!!! UNDERSTAND THE THREAD AMONGST ALL OF us BEADS. [As we celebrate tying the Thread today on Raksha Bandhan] Once we Realize HIM as a Common thread each day, and then all our Actions will be for HIM and Peace shall follow. The Essence of The Srimad Bhagavad Gita then, is to read, learn, try to understand and firmly believe in the Divine words of Lord KRSNA, The Supreme Personality of Godhead, The Supreme Controller of Time, Place, People and all material Things we see around us that each of us tries to Control ourselves but the same material things also have the innate power to effect us and change our lives within fractions of seconds at HIS glance.....!!! The only thing that makes one change paths in life would be their fund of KNOWLEDGE or WISDOM gained, which then confirms and satisfies their inner hunger for answers of the Unknown and to be determined to follow a Path that may seem abstract initially until, one really starts enjoying Peace and Inner Happiness. All living beings suffer from the same common diseases of passion, fear and anger each day and several times each day too. All of those reside in the Mind, senses, intelligence and effect the human body or the Chariot; due to a total lack of KNOWLEDGE OR WISDOM OF The DRIVER Lord KRSNA on The Chariot and as The Self or The Soul in our own human body....!!! When we eat food each day several times, we only eat mostly due to HUNGER. But, in the process of the act of eating, we satisfy our hunger first, but also a side effect of eating later, is Satisfaction internally of all body parts, internal peace, happiness and joy of eating which we did not think of at the time of eating. Similarly, when we start DEVOTION to The Supreme and try to gain Knowledge or Wisdom about HIM, then as a side effect all the above problems of passion, fear and anger automatically also get effected and calm down due to the act itself and again - INTERNAL PEACE, JOY, HAPPINESS, BLISS and SATISFACTION are the result....!!! FOOD FOR THOUGHT then: THREAD is more Important....!!! [Let us not get too engrossed just on the beads.......] Just counting BEADS on a japa mala or Chanting on the Beads of a japa mala reminds us of - HIM , BUT We must also Remind ourselves of the importance of the ...THREAD or STRING that really holds all the Japa mala beads ....TOGETHER.......!!! LORD KRSNA then says that HE is that .....THREAD OR STRING who keeps us ALL Beads together. B.G : 7:7 मत्तः परतरं नान्यत्किञ्चिदस्ति धनञ्जय । मयि सर्वमिदं प्रोतं सूत्रे मणिगणा इव ॥ ७ ॥ Only we the beads have to learn, read, understand and realize that by introspecting on HIS Divine words, or else we could just spend our short life span only counting the beads; and NEVER really try to understand the importance of the THREAD itself or HIMSELF or LORD KRSNA.........!!!!
