The Essence of The Srimad Bhagavad Gita then, is to read, learn, introspect, Understand and Realize that we are a Spirit Soul or Atman and our Only eternal occupation is to build a relationship with HIM, LORD KRSNA, The Supreme Paramatman or The Supreme Controller or The Supreme SOUL or SELF, The Supreme Driver on The Chariot of ALL our lives.....!!! Thus attaining Peace and Happiness in this Kaliyuga ONLY lies within our understanding of this relationship and no other list of Material actions and assets has the power to generate it and remove our pains and suffering in this material world. In The Srimad Bhagavatam and several other Sacred Scriptures it is announced several times about the Power and Glory of Chanting HIS names. Devotees like Dhruv Maharaj, Prahalad Maharaj, King Janaka, Maharaja Parakshit, Arjuna, Bhismadeva, Mother Kunti and others were ALL highly Self-Realized Souls and Only Chanted the Divine name. The Ultimate Goal of human life is to be able to remember to CHANT HIS name and think of HIM, at the time of our final departure, just like Lord KRSNA announces to arjuna : ante kAle ca mAm eva smaran muktvA kalevaram Lord Krsna to arjuna....B.G. 8:5 Or as mentioned to Maharaja Parakshit when he is awaiting his death at the end of the seven days on the banks of a river : vAsudeva param jnAnam vAsudeva param tapah vAsudeva paro dharmo vAsudeva para gatih Srimad Bhagavatam FOOD FOR THOUGHT then : Remembering HIS Names must be Important. Once we have read, learned, Realized, firmly understood and decided to practice our love and devotion to Lord KRSNA, The Supreme, then there is no perfect time and place to CHANT HIS DIVINE names and glories, since HE already Controls ALL the TIME and PLACES anyway!!! We can CHANT, SING, PRAY, WORSHIP, READ, MEDITATE, TALK, WRITE, TEXT, EMAIL, SPREAD and PROPAGATE HIS DIVINE name all the time and at all the places : TOGETHER Thus once we are closer to The STOREHOUSE AND THE STORE MANAGER OF TRUTH-KNOWLEDGE-BLISS OR SAT-CHIT-ANANDA; only then do we have a chance of attaining and maintaining Peace and Happiness in our lives........!!!
