HEALING OF SONS & DAUGHTERS- As I am praying this morning I am thinking of so many young spiritual pioneers that I meet as I minister at our home base in VA & as I travel. Many of them have hearts filled with plans & purposes. The greatest love, acceptance and validation that we will ever receive is from our Heavenly Father! God also sends men and women into our lives to Father, accept, guide and mentor. We can see this process in the old Testament in men like Elijah and Elisha and in the New Testament with men like Paul and Timothy. Fathers identify, establish, impart, teach, mentor, love, accept, correct, train and SEND. Apostolic anointing is a SENDING anointing! Because many pioneers have never been fathered they just go and are never sent. They endure hardship, instability and painful failures. This is not to say that none of these things happen when you are sent, but there is protection, guidance and a BLESSING upon the SENT. I believe that we are living in a Malachi 4:6 moment when God is turning the hearts of The Fathers to the Children. God is turning the hearts of seasoned ministries towards the next generation who long for love, acceptance and guidance. It is difficult to juggle an active schedule and the investment of time that it takes to Father but I believe we can and must do better! We must say NO to some things in order to say YES to the vital assignment of FATHERING. I pray for an awakening of spiritual Fathers and Mothers. I pray that they hear and heed the call of the hour to RELEASE a POWERFUL generation into their DESTINY! I pray for Holy Spirit strategies to effectively lead, to build structures and methods that advance relational ministry. For the wounded sons & daughters: I pray NUMBER 1: That you know the FULL love and ACCEPTANCE of the GREATEST Father--your Abba, Daddy God. His powerful love can invade every wounded place and bring healing. Also, I encourage you to invest in the fathers and mothers. This may sound strange but sons and daughters actually refresh the fathers & mothers, reach out to them, travel to their events, pursue them and DO NOT just PURSUE their promotion but ACTUALLY purse their hearts. Pray and ask God for FAVOR (Ps. 5:12) with the right people. He will go ahead of you and clear the way. UNDERSTAND that a FATHER is also a flawed man who will let you down at times but is striving to be like Jesus. Extend grace to Spiritual Fathers and allow God to knit your hearts and release a powerful new dimension of relationship. BLESSINGS & HEALING to you! 1 Cor. 4:17- For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and he will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, just as I teach everywhere in every church.
