HEALING well ... meet Marvin (was Darwin a doxie/rat terrier/Jack Russell mix, a 15 lber) ... who was found nearly dead over a month ago. A good Samaritan took him to TAW and he was treated for multiple puncture wounds, major infection and emaciation. They think it was a dog attack - he was in really bad shape, and frankly, almost didnt make it. One of our fosters nephews worked at the school where he was found, so we guided him on what to do, then after 5 days at TAW, we picked him up and took him into our custody. This little guy is a survivor. He is cute, snuggly and coming around more and more each day! Thanks to the vet staff at TAW for taking such diligent care of him. We really appreciate you guys and are so happy that he is getting ready for his forever home! Three cheers for Marvin, and his wonderful foster family, Sandra and Ronnie, and their amazing nephew for giving him a chance at a very happy life.
