HEALTH & FITNESS CLUB MANAGER - NEWMARKET - £NEG DOE On behalf of our Newmarket based client, we are seeking an experienced Leisure Club Manager to lead and drive the business forward into a new and exciting phase. As a head of department, you’ll join a team of like-minded individuals committed to leading by example, motivating others and providing exemplary customer service. You will manage a team of qualified fitness consultants and a membership administrator along with responsibilities for communications with dance studio instructors, contractors and suppliers. About You: You’ll be ambitious and keen to manage your own area of the business (customers, suppliers, processes, marketing, revenue and financial accountability). You’ll need to have previous leisure management experience, be highly motivated and ready to hit the floor running. Minimum Requirements include; Supervisory or management experience within a Leisure environment (Essential) Understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a leisure/exercise environment Drive and leadership ability in order to maintain/improve standards, compliance and financial accountability. Experience of building membership, managing profitability and developing creative marketing/communication strategies. An appropriate Fitness/Sports qualification and a commitment to continuous professional development.
