HEALTH TIP FOR KEEPING FIT BY DR.THOMAS VARGHESE , WELL KNOWN AYURVEDA DOCTOR • Start and end the day with a glass of warm water with and lemon. • Yoga and Meditation for45 minutes in the morning. • Please prefer steamed vegetables also for your Breakfast other than Idly, Dosha etc. Include sprouts, raw salads and fruits also in your breakfast. Grated coconut is also good. • Cucumber/carrot juice is a must with the breakfast. • Skip lunch. Have a glass of fresh fruit juice at lunch time. • Have a glass of butter milk at 4 pm. • Have an early dinner at 7.30 pm. • Always eat very slowly. Drink your food. • Drink 20 glasses of water every day. Never get thirsty feeling. • Eat a lot of varieties of fruits and vegetables. You should never get bored of the food. You should enjoy all the meal you take. Apples, apricots, banana and grape fruits are good for you. • Try to keep a wet towel over your abdomen for about 20 minutes every day. • Skipping dinner once in a week is must. Have only fruit or a glass of juice instead. • Please do not eat in front of TV. • Please don’t forget to go for a slow walk after dinner. REGULAR 45 MINS OF EXERCISE BOOST YOU TO BE YOUNG FOREVER
