HEARTS OPENING EVERYWHERE This is an extremely EMOTIONAL month, is it not? You can tell by the flow of postings on FB. There is awareness coming in, about the most intricate and vulnerable parts of Human Beingness. Kid things. Heart things. Things which may not affect the bottom line on your Quarterly Tax Statement---but profoundly affect the bottom line on your life purpose and connection to whats all around you. In Politics, the Powers that Be tend to place more weight on the opinions of the haves........who carry responsibility for large enterprises and financial holdings. Those who have nothing (materially) are treated like they know nothing. Thats a dangerous imbalance in a society. Those who have nothing also have nothing to lose! Therefore, they are less likely to be caught up in a struggle to maintain, to sustain, the status quo. Their judgments.........in matters of common sense and core human values.......is often clearer than short-sighted, biased rationalizations formed through business alliances and poltical goal-setting. Though its not advisable to adopt their views as a replacement for the views of business and landowners---its foolish to try and go foward, as a society, without their input as well. Charlie Sheens character, in the movie WALL STREET, is a great example. If you havent seen the movie---check it out. He starts out questioning the basic values he was taught growing up, as he jumps on the Gordon Gecko Merry-go-Round of Stock Speculation and shady business dealings.
