Those who do not obey the gospel ( 2 Th 1:7-9) Are you going to heaven or to hell? The bible teaches that many seemingly good people are going to hell, because ‘’…all have sinned…’’ (Romans 3:23). ‘’For there is not a just man upon earth that doeth good, and sinneth not.’’ (Ecclesiastes 7:20). Sin has a price. The Bible states, ‘’…the soul that sinneth, it shall die…’’ (Romans 6:23). You might be wondering what happens to people who die in their sins. The Bible teaches that ‘’…it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:’’ (Hebrews 9:27). ‘’And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.’’ (Revelation 20:15). Is there any hope? Yes! God sent His only son, Jesus, into the world to pay the penalty for your sins. ‘’For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’’ (John 3:16). ‘’But God commandeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’’ (Romans 5:8). The bible tells us that God desires to save everyone. God is ‘’…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.’’ (2 Peter 3:9b). Jesus said: ‘’…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.’’ (John 6:37). Do you want to be saved? The Bible teaches that there are several things you must do in order to be saved. SEVEN STEPS TO BE SAVED: • Admit you are a sinner (Rom 3:23) • Come to Jesus Christ ( Heb 7:25, John 6:37) • Repent of your sins (Acts 3:19) • Confess your sins to Jesus (1 John 1:9) • Forsake your sins (Prov 28:13) • Believe in Jesus Christ (Rom 10:9) • Receive Jesus Christ (John 1:12) First, you must realize there is nothing you can do to make yourself worthy of heaven. ‘’Not by words of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…’’ (Titus 3:5). Secondly, you must repent of your sins. ‘’...God…now commandeth all men everywhere to repent:’’ (Acts 17:30). Repentance is a change of heart which causes you to turn toward God and away from your present way of life. The third thing that you must do is to believe ‘’…that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:’’ (1 Corinthians 15:3,4) The last thing that you must do is to receive Christ as your personal saviour.’’ But as many as received him, to them he gave the power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:’’ (John 1:12). ‘’for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’’ (Romans 10:13). Salvation is free to all who will place their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. ‘’for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.’’ (Ephesians 2:8-9). The way to be saved is so simple! Yet many refuse to be saved. They will not accept Jesus Christ alone for salvation from sin and its penalty. They refuse to believe that the Lord Jesus is powerful enough to save them by Himself. Do you? Heaven or hell—which one will you choose? Jesus Christ awaits your choice.’’ He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: but the wrath of God abideth on him.’’ (John 3:36). Will you admit you are a sinner? Do you want to be forgiven and your life changed? Will you humble yourself and pray to God right now, asking Jesus Christ to save you? ‘’that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.’’ (Romans 10:9). ‘’wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.’’ (Hebrews 7:25). RUN FOR YOUR SALVATION NOW!!!!!!!! Say this prayer; ‘’Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross to take away my sins. I am sorry for all the wrong things I have done. I ask you to please come into my heart and live in my heart forever. I am trusting you right now to make my heart clean and I take you to be my very own Lord and Saviour. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Blessed are the pure in heart, They have learned the angel art, While on earth in heaven to be, God, by sense unseen, to see. Cleansed from sin’s offensive stain, Fellowship with Him they gain; Nearness, likeness to their Lord, Their exceeding great reward. 2. Worshipping in spirit now, In His inner court they bow— Bow before the brightening veil, God’s own radiance through it hall. Serious, simple of intent, Teachably intelligent, Rapt, they search the written word Till His very voice is heard. 3. In creation Him they own, Meet Him in its haunts, alone; Most amidst its Sabbath calm, Morning light and evening balm. Him they still through busier life Trust in pain, and care, and strife; These, like clouds o’er noontide Blaze, Temper, not conceal, His rays. 4. Hallowed thus their every breath : Dying, they shall not see death. With the Lord in paradise, Till, like His, their bodies rise. Nearer than the seraphim In their flesh shall saints see Him With the father, in the son, Through the spirit, ever one. William Maclardie Bunting The holy Bible is God’s eternal word, the bible says in Psalm 119:89 ‘’ forever o Lord, your word is settled in heaven.’’ ‘’Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth’’ Ecclesiastes 12:1. It is my prayer and hope that everybody will follow the path to Heaven but not hell. The other day, when I was going to God’s mission trip, moving from border-border, ministering to customs, soldiers, police or militaries, I really cherished and loved it. The message entitled was, are you saved? It was on one of my tracks I was sharing to the people and the message was very touching, glory and honour be to God! I used this message in praying, preaching in vehicles as well as airports and in many other countries and also mostly in hotels, restaurants, etc. thousands of people changed through this, any country or places I ministered to, I made sure souls become born again Christians. At times it is not about church alone, but witnessing from house to house, shop to shop and in many other means for them to be saved. The bible says wise people are soul winners, let me ask you a question, are you a wise person or not? The reason why I’m asking you to choose between heaven and earth is that, our deeds on earth will determine where we will be, so brethren, amend your ways in order for you to be in heaven not hell, Rom 12:1 ‘’ I besiege you therefore, present yourself as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to our Lord, this is a reasonable acts of worship’’. I gave many hymns written by different people, I don’t think these people will go to hell if they only obey the instructions given from God within their ministrations, myself, Apostle Paul John composed a song entitled ‘’use me, father for I am for you’’ will also not determine where I will be but my life on earth will determine that, I am convincing you to want to be in heaven. Jesus said he was going to prepare a place for us according to Luke, and he will come back for us, let us be ready for him, are you ready! Are you ready! Are you ready! For the coming of Jesus Christ, set your life in a place that you may be ready for Him at all times. If you have never been saved, that is receive Jesus Christ as your personal saviour today-right now!
