HEBREWS 12:5-7 5.And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: My son,do not make light of the Lords discipline,and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, 6.because the Lord disciplines those he loves,and punishes everyone he accepts as a son. 7.Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons.For what son is not disciplined by his father? ------------------------------------ AMEN! Whatever hardship Gods people we are going through now-we are dispised,rejected,mocked,gossiped at,rediculed because of taking the Narrow path of righteousness and holiness- God has allowed it on purpose:to prove to us that we are His true sons. No one can discipline a son who is not his.Because the true father of that son will complain that,hey,you are harting my son. That is how the Devil reacts when God tries to discipline those who have chosen to reject Gods discipline and have taken shortcuts in life.God cannot force Himself on them. This means,if we reject Gods discipline-to endure hardship,we risk losing our sonship to Him and only await His judgment as His enemies. Even in our earthly arrangement,when a son refuses his fathers discipline and correction,the father begins to treat him differently. Therefore: However tough the times are becoming,dont you ever give up sons of God. He is preparing us for greater rewards in eternity-not these temporary earthly,material possesions that men are fighting for. TAKE COURAGE SOMEBODY,ENDURE HARDSHIP. Peace to you all.
