HELLO! This is Glorious news! Happy Wednesday! See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, RATHER than according to Christ. For in Him ALL the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been MADE COMPLETE, and He is the head over all rule and authority; and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also RAISED with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you ALIVE TOGETHER with Him, having forgiven us ALL our transgressions, having CANCELLED out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it OUT of the way, having NAILED it to the cross. When He had DISARMED the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having TRIUMPHED over them through Him. Therefore IF you have been RAISED UP with Christ, keep seeking the things ABOVE, where Christ IS, seated at the right hand of God. SET your mind on the things ABOVE, NOT on the things that are on earth. FOR YOU HAVE DIED and your life is hidden WITH Christ IN God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be REVEALED with Him in glory. Colossians 2:8-15 Colossians 3:1-4 God is for YOU! He proved it by settling on the cross just how far he would go to give you a completely new life, filled with the fullness of Him. In your new identity you HAVE literally BECOME the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Christ (2 Cor 5:21) When your old man died imagine yourself becoming nothing but glowing, shining, radiant, light. You exchanged your old Identity, for a glorious new one. This is the only way God can see you, THROUGH Christ. Why bring the entaglements and weights of your old identity into your NEWness of life? There is no gray areas with your old identity and your new one. Your old one was a slave to sin and its bondage, your new one is a slave to righteousness and freedom (Romans 6) You are a slave to whatever masters you! Sin is deceptive meaning the devil uses it to deceive you. The things you hold onto that are not of your new nature are satans gateway in to keep a literal veil over your eyes to keep you from having intimacy with Jesus and seeing yourself as He does. When your conscious feels dirty and guilty you don’t go to the throne of grace to receive grace and mercy, your back is actually turned from it. When everything we need to live in our relationship with God is found at this place! Yikes! He paid the price to get the lies off of you and get the truth in you of How He sees you now that you are IN Him so you can be who you were destined to be. Satan is trying to rob destinies by keeping you from seeing the Lord clearly as He sees and loves you. For the Pure in Heart shall SEE the Lord. When you are pure, You are able to see the Lord purely, and how HE SEES YOU purely. The only thing that will make it through the fire when our lives are played before Him is our foundation that is BUILT on Christ. But if were not united with Him in His death by dying to ourselves, or desires exc. How can we be resurrected with Him in his likeness and build off of that? For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3: Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. In 2 Peter says until you become accustomed to the word of righteousness you are a spiritual baby. Imagine being a baby your whole life and never growing any older! That is a destiny that has been siphoned! Hebrews 5: “Concerning him we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to DISCERN good and evil.” Now is the oppurtunity as EACH Morning is a gift to become more like Him united in His death bc who we become now sets who we are for all eternity! The very basic first step to walking this thing out is DYING TO SELF, laying down your own life, your own rights, sis, desires exc. Laying down your own life to pick up your cross to follow Him. HAVE YOU DIED? for that is when you experience the fullness of newness of LIFE! If not this is where the constant source of spiritual conflict keeps kicking your butt.. Its the war of life vs death: rightousnes is life & destiny, sin is death and destiny robbed Paul says… Romans 6: How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into HIS DEATH? Therefore we have been BURIED with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in NEWNESS OF LIFE. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, CERTAINLY we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be SLAVES to sin; for he who has died is FREED from SIN. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, HE LIVES TO GOD Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be! Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, and HAVING BEEN FREED from sin, you became slaves of righteousness…But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life!
