HELP HELP HELP HELP Ok, I play a corporate. I play with the foundation that my GABRIEL SHAI brand is built on and I have just received the following email from the event coordinator to the entertainment company that hired me. Please can you guys advise me on my path as an entertainer who has lived this career since I was 17 years old. I dont understand the email below when my realtime reaction from the public guests has been a WOW response unless they were patronising and blatantly lying to my face I am confused as to what I am expected to be?!? Please respond with your transparency and let me understand my own brand from a public perspective. all anonymous emails will be read. I need clarity before i respond. The following is the verbatim copied and pasted from the event company........... Thank you for all your arrangements with this entertainer. I felt it imperative to give you this crucial feedback. 1 ) We didnt find him at all professional. 2) His focus was not on his entertainment -he was too familiar with the audience. 3) For the amount we paid ,we felt cheated for the value add for our themed dinner. The general consensus of the crowd was that the music was not free flowing and he didnt know lyrics of certain songs which he started playing. 4) He paused thru songs and ended abruptly whilst trying to interact with the crowd (so much so that we felt we should have rather booked a comedian). 5) We ended up paying for an additional room which he cancelled on the 13th hour. All in all ,we felt he was not worth what we paid . We would appreciate your follow up with this entertainer and look forward to your response. Thank you in advance.
