HELP PLEASE! We are only 2K votes away from taking over 2nd place. The cover of Mens Health magazine may not seem like a big deal, but its a HUGE pulpit to launch a national discussion about the role of movement in helping children transcend learning difficulties. Please vote: mhguysearch/entry/720 (once per device, per browser, per day - and throughout the day if you can!) When your votes put me on the cover, Im donating 100% of the prize money ($3,500.00) to DyslexicAdvantage, but just as importantly, with the media and television coverage, Ill be able to introduce the role of physical movement as alternative education to support childhood learning difficulties. If youre curious about movement as a learning style, see my TEDx Talk: tedxtalks.ted/video/How-We-Suppress-Genius-and-Crea In a harrowing nightmare, I had been institutionalized in a childrens psychiatric hospital for the disruptive behavior wrought by my learning difficulties. Yet, movement gave me an outlet to express my innate talents, transforming me into a 5X world martial arts champion, and an industry leader pioneering innovations and inventions. Imagine how many other children never make it out of the institutional waste-bucket! Think about how many we give up on and leave behind; not to mention the bullyism and abuse they often suffer (which I know too well.) With a national discussion on the issue, we can influence policy changes through education and awareness. Give me the chance to stand at that pulpit, and we will bring a bullhorn to the message, and a light at the end of the tunnel for these kids, their parents, and their teachers. We can do this! I only need you to vote, right now, and until the contest ends, so we are guaranteed to win: mhguysearch/entry/720 Thank you! Scott Sonnon Thank you for caring enough to take only five seconds to click a vote!
