HELP SAVE A LIFE! Come to the shelter this Saturday, March 22nd at Noon Oakland Animal Services, 1101-29th Ave., Oakland Oakland Animal Services and Hopalong Animal Rescue (hopalong.org) are recruiting volunteers to provide short-term in-home care for friendly dogs and puppies in need until they are adopted. Supplies (food, bedding, toys etc.) and veterinary care are paid for by Hopalong. Fostering can last from a few days to several months. This event is free, open to the public and is no-commitment. If you’re interested in helping out the community or want some dog time without the long term responsibility of dog ownership, fostering might be for you! Hopalong Animal Rescue is an Oakland-based 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to ending the euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats in California. Founded twenty years ago, Hopalong has rescued over 23,000 pets. Let us know if you’d like to attend.
