HERD MANAGER NEEDED FOR A SHORT SUMMER VACATION! I am in need of A RESPONSIBLE PERSON(s) to be my herd manager for a couple of days. I would like to take a short trip this summer but cant leave the farm totally unattended. The job would consist of milking 3 does, twice a day. Bottle feeding 1 kid, twice a day (when u come to milk the does), putting out grain, hay, and filling up water tubs for the goats daily. You would also be responsible for feeding the chickens (16) and turkeys (2). This would consist of filling up the feeders, water buckets, and gathering eggs. Feeding and watering 1 outside farm guard dog. You would also get to pick and keep any veggies that are ready from the garden during that time along with the goat milk (2 gallons per day), and fresh eggs. A small payment might also be available. It sounds like a lot, but it would take about 2 hrs, tops each day (1hr morning/1hr evening). Please message me if you are RESPONSIBLE, have farm experience or would like to learn.
