HERE COMES THE NIGHT Tossed down like stones stuck in mud, Armor-skinned with gossamer-thin emotions, Living becomes all snared and entangled, Sorrows draped on one layer at a time, Daylight swept away by night breezes, And they stoke the flame of fury inside, As all things continue to weep, and rage Rages on but here comes the night. Uncountable eyes of space drift to The hills and valleys of deception, Float through the wrong end of the Telescope, with the sound of breaking Bones all around sometimes you’ll see A grown man crying in the street who will Try so hard to be forgotten and get Shook to shivering inside and life dangles-- But here comes the night.
