HERE IS A YOUNG MAN WHO IS NOT LETTING EPILEPSY HOLD HIM BACK. HIS STORY IS AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL :-) Hi my name is Anthony J. Imperato, I have been suffering from junior myclonic epilepsy since I was 12 years old. Through all the pain and close calls from seizure concussions to a brain cancer scare and development of short term memory loss it has made me appreciate the meaning of life. A week ago I graduated from California College of the Arts with an emphasis in Animation pursuing a career as a storyboard artist. A week before that I had taken a job offer on a prime time animation show called Bobs Burgers as a storyboard revisionist and my dreams are finally becoming a reality. I am also a stand up comedian on the side doing what I love most, putting smiles on peoples faces. The biggest lesson that I have learn from epilepsy is that you can never give up even when everything seems lost. Its not the punch that defines us but the get up and willingness to stay in the ring and continue to take the punches throwing some back in the process. Best, Anthony
