HERE IS HOW TO CURE A CERTAIN TYPE OF CANCER (because I dont know if Ill ever make it to where I want to be, so I want to share the info now). There is a [rare] type of tumor called carcinoid tumor. What it does is sucks up serotonin and other monoamines and catecholamines, but then releases it like a capacitor, bursting these into the blood stream, causing symptoms clearly defined. The CURE is THE SCAN. Octreotide Scan (OctreoScan(R)). Octreotide, similar to somatostatin, is radiolabeled with [radioactive] Indium-111, which binds to cancer cells with receptors for this peptide. Two things now happen; 1: The cancer cells light up when viewed with a gamma camera, and, 2: Radiation is delivered specifically and selectively to the cancer cells. This is why the scan is the cure. It has been recently named PRRT, or, Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy.
