Reed Promotional Media, “RPM,” has launched a new marketing entity devoted entirely to the needs and budgets of charitable and philanthropic organizations. “RPM” Charitable Services will operate as an in-house service of Reed Promotional Media, and will begin serving qualifying organizations November 1st. Kevin Reed, president of “RPM,” stated, “This service has been in the planning stages for a few years now and I was really planning on launching it as a part-time career once I retired. But I now see the need and wanted to hit the ground running with it sooner than later. The organizations that we spoke to were excited to see ‘RPM’ Charitable Services get started.” “RPM” Charitable Services will utilize the same staffing and internal operations of Reed Promotional Media, but will act as a ‘go-to’ source for pro-bono consultation and guidance for non-profit organizations. Other “RPM” services such as commercial video, graphic design, web development, printing, and social media will be offered on a reduced fee basis. “It was our goal to keep ourselves active in the community, and also to give our employees an opportunity to interact more with charitable groups,” Reed said. “It actually becomes a winning situation for all involved. The charity gets some needed marketing help, and “RPM” employees gain additional exposure to some fantastic organizations.” In addition, “RPM” Charitable Services will network with other area businesses to join them with deserving, compatible causes. Reed added, “We will help act as a matchmaker with non-profits and the business community.
