### HHFC vs TDC Knights ### The Hawks and opponents TDC Knights observed a minutes silence in honour of Stewart McEwan who passed away 6 years ago today as well as wearing black armbands to commemorate a good friend of many of the squad. The game began very scrappily with the Hawks struggling to get to terms with a poor, sticky pitch and a lively, enthusiastic opposition. The Hawks nearly made it to half time unscathed thanks to a series of good savbes from keeper Alan Galbraith, but unfortunately conceded on the stroke of half time. After a half time talking to and several changes, the Hawks started brightly and found the net when Chris Berry rifled home a volley at the near post after a good ball from the left. They then had several chances to take the lead but never found a breakthrough and TDC spoiled the party with a well taken goal on the 60 minute mark. Despite battling right to the end the Hawks couldnt come back and suffered their first ever defeat as a club. The winning streak and unbeaten run may be over, but with 6 games to go the hawks sit at the top of the pile with a commanding lead on teams below. Time to bounce back and kick on for the rest of the year boys!! UTH!!!!
