HHS CLASS OF 2014 ALUM JAKE RYAN LOOKING GREAT IN SYRACUSE ORANGE ... Jake Ryan has always shown the flexibility needed to adapt to the twists and turns of life. The Huntington High School Class of 2014 has successfully transitioned to being a freshman at Syracuse University, where he is doing well academically and socially. Jake is currently taking courses in Calculus, Research in Writing and Comparative Government and Politics, which is my favorite class. He is considering declaring a major in political science. He is thoroughly enjoying the Syracuse campus, which is bustling with NCAA Division I sports, dozens of clubs and other organizations and students from across the world. As a longtime fan, he is particularly looking forward to the start of the Syracuse basketball season. A varsity letter winner with the Blue Devil swimming and baseball teams, Jake wanted to go to Syracuse University since a young age. He was accepted as an early decision applicant. During his years at Huntington High School, Jake was active in student government sponsored events, including Play Fest and homecoming.
