HI MF... Im from batch 07... not a regular student not even for a term since I failed Trigonometry on my frosh year...I however belong to those who graduated with 2-3 term delay from the regular class. Starting POV: 1. IM NOT SMART 2. I DONT USE OT (old testament but discovered this on my 2nd year yes its late lol) 3. because its a HS habit...during my frosh year Im addicted to dota and other known mmos during that time... ragnarok, rf, cabal, rohan etc and I only study a day before any exam (which is, most of you know by now...not enough) 4. It takes me 1 and a half hour from school to home 5. I slack off on the finals week 6. I care less about love life Anyway, Ive been working for almost 2 years now, after the board exam I immediately applied for work...and with luck, guts and diligence Im currently working overseas for almost a year now. MY POV now are as follows: 1. YOU DONT NEED TO BE SMART, what you need is the proper habit 2. if others think that using OT is cheating, I see it as a form of resourcefulness, well...as long as you understand them fully 3. hobbies will either help or destroy... 3.1 postive POV : as a means to relax, afterall who can concentrate with stress on 3.2 negative POV : addiction, lack of control 3.3 what to do : learn to prioritize (this doesnt mean that study goes 1st all the time) 4. Eliminate time consuming activities or find a way to utilize them (I tried studying while commuting but that didnt work on me lol so I went on a dormitory) 5. From personal experience, there are cases where you pass just from your finals grade...(then again if you have a good balance for no. 3 you wont even cram on your finals) 6. One of the main reasons why I changed from my previous habit is because I had a GF for inspiration and besides all those amor moments I see to it that she reminds me of my future or our future... to my luck we are still together today and yes that includes our current long distance relationship... tl;dr...its up to you.... the purpose of this post is to state personal facts, the impact however depends on your understanding/situation... Im not saying this is how you become successful cause I have yet to prove that myself... (my current salary in a month is 3-4x what entry level salary other professional graduates have but things have a trade off...one of them is I dont get to enjoy my youth unlike others...) perhaps one of my best advice is learning how to ADAPT and being aware of CHANGE you cant be too cocky and cant be too laid back... you might be on the top now then at the bottom later...or vice versa...who knows... then again this may help those who are currently struggling...
